Our lab focuses on a variety of topics related to combinatorics, parallel computing, and scientific computing. Current lab members are working on the following projects:

  • Knowledge Discovery Toolkit (KDT) : A scalable framework for graph algorithms. KDT provides a Python interface for domain experts seeking to exploit the power of supercomputers without needing to understand the details of parallel computing.   • Parallel Algorithms for Genomics Computations: We are starting to work on a project in cooperation with Lawerence Berkeley National Labs, which seeks to parallelize and improve some of the computations on large graphs that are inherent to many problems in genomics.
